Northbrook Park Summer Wedding

One of my favourite things about the UK is how much we appreciate the sun when it does eventually come out and what better way to make the most of it, than with a summer wedding. HOWEVER, the UK weather is an unpredictable beast and even in the height of summer, we should be prepared for anything. Enter: Northbrook Park – truly one of my favourite summer wedding venues. Come rain or shine, this gorgeous wedding venue will have your back.

The Vine Room

Let’s start with the vine room – a stunning setting for a ceremony or wedding breakfast. No matter the weather, this elegant space, with its tall French windows, is always flooded with natural light. A beautiful space but also a dream for natural light photography.

The Walled Garden

If you are fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of that elusive British sun, then Northbrook Park‘s walled garden is the place to be for a few celebratory drinks. In those lush surroundings there’s no shortage of a good backdrop for photos. And if you are really lucky, you might even get a visit from the resident peacocks.

The Orangery

Finally, in to The Orangery – a unique space of exposed and vine covered brickwork. Even in the worst of the British weather, you’ll have a feeling of being outdoors and surrounded by nature.

From a totally selfish point of view, I personally love Northbrook Park. It’s a documentary wedding photographer’s dream because of all that natural light, lush greenery and plenty of open space. For me, it doesn’t get much better. But all of that aside, it really is a truly unique venue for a wedding so I can’t wait to get back there again this summer!
